Frequently Asked Questions
What is DurraLink?
DurraLink designs and supplies NFC (tap) products for businesses, including Google Review cards, Wi-Fi connect cards, digital menus, loyalty cards, social media tap cards, NFC keyrings, table talkers and QR+NFC hybrids. We're based in Southport, England.
How does NFC actually work?
Each card or tag contains a small NFC chip programmed with a link. When a customer taps their phone against it, their phone opens that link automatically — no app or download required. Most smartphones from the last several years support NFC by default.
Do my customers need to download an app?
No. NFC tapping works through your phone's built-in NFC reader. As long as NFC is switched on (it usually is by default), a simple tap is all that's needed.
Can a card be reprogrammed or updated later?
This depends on the product and how it's been set up. Get in touch and we'll let you know what's possible for your specific card or tag.
How do I order, and how do I pay?
We primarily supply businesses directly, in person, across Southport and the surrounding area. Contact us to discuss your requirements, and we'll arrange payment directly with you.
What if my card or tag stops working?
Our products are built to last, but if something isn't working as expected, contact us at info@durralink.co.uk and we'll help put it right. See our Terms & Conditions for more on your rights regarding faulty goods.
What's your returns policy?
Full details are set out in our Terms & Conditions. In short: your statutory rights under UK consumer law are always protected, and we're happy to talk through any issue directly.
Is my personal data safe?
Yes. We only collect what's needed to respond to your enquiry or fulfil an order, and we never sell your data. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

Change of Mind
If your order consists of a standard, non-personalised product, you may have cancellation rights under UK consumer law.
Returned products must:
- be unused;
- be complete;
- be in their original packaging where reasonably possible.
Custom Programmed Products
Where an NFC card, tag, stand or sticker has been programmed specifically for your business or personalised using information you supplied, cancellation rights may not apply where permitted by UK law.
Because programmed NFC products cannot be securely reset and resold as new, we are generally unable to accept returns simply because you no longer require the item.

We will arrange an appropriate repair, replacement or refund in accordance with your legal rights.
